Located approximately 20 miles north of Zihuatanejo , Mexico, Troncones is a small beachfront village……..quiet, isolated, and romantic…an absolute jewel. Whether you are interested in surfing, yoga, swimming, fishing, or walking the endless empty beaches Troncones offers a wonderful alternative to other more crowded resorts towns. Many casual, family owned restaurants are within walking distance, offering a wide variety of fresh seafood dishes at very reasonable prices. Fresh fish, vegetables, and baked goods are available from local stores and farmers’ markets as well.

Troncones is very easy to get by, one straight 5 km road along the beachside, i do recommend to rent a car or rent some bicycles since walking during the day with the sun can be intense.
